Guys I know this is a broad question, but I am so damned sick of the steering in my truck and I want to get it fixed once and for all. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I will drive 5 or 6 hours if need be to get this taken care of and taken care of right. VA, TN, NC, SC, GA...I am about an hour north of Charlotte and there are some decent shops down there like Farm Boys and Tarheel 4WD but I want to do this once and do it right. I don't want to throw anymore parts at it!! Don't have the time to mess with any so-called local experts. Dealer of course won't touch my truck with the 35's, deletes, and Carli stuff. I have a Carli track bar, steering box stabilizer, replaced all the tie rod ends, adjusted the steering box, and everything is tight. I don't know if it's ball joints or the box, but I'm not gonna mess with it anymore. It's also got a Carli low mount stabilizer. These so called shops around here are shady and they don't know their stuff. I am just looking for someone who knows their sh!t and knows their way around these trucks who can give me some quality answers. Any suggestions and help is appreciated!! Thanks in advance.

A little late but try Davis Off Road in Richmond Va. I have been friends with the owner and the other two brothers who work in the shop for years. They have always been very good with lift installs and issues. Call and ask for JW.

If you want someone to work on your steering parts the best guy I know for that is Ryan at 4 wheel parts in Charlotte. They can fix any suspension, steering issue I ever had and they are real 4x4 guys so they know what they are talking about.

what are you symptoms...its gonna be all bolt on. Pick you up the parts, and you could even buy more or higher end parts if your not paying someone else labor. Wrench on it yourself. This way you can learn just how everything works and you can diagnose in the future yourself cause you know how it ticks.
