My bedliner looks like poo.

I want to do a tintable Raptor Liner

Should I stay black? Match the white? Match the silver trim?

I had Line-x do mine. I had them spray over the bed rails and down a bit similar to a drop in. I also sprung for the "uv guard" which they claim will never dull and keep a nice shine. My time vs dollars was worth it to me along with the no questions lifetime warranty.

Used plastic bed liner for me. They take a lot of abuse before denting the box. Cleans/sweeps easy.

Also can't afford professional $pray-in.

I'm not sure how well white would hold up long term. Personally I prefer black but that color match red in the post above looks great. I don't do heavy duty use on my factory spray-in but I also added a Bedrug to help make it EZ on the knees and I like the look of the bedrug. My bed is not exposed to the weather as I also added an inexpensive soft tonneau cover so I won't get any sun fade. My plan is to replace that soft cover with a hard cover when funds get better but that soft cover works for now as no Sun gets to the bed.
Again, I prefer black but I wonder if black fades quicker than others?
You folks that paid extra for the UV bed protection; does that UV coating help and for how many years?
Do you get a no fade warranty?

I have played with a couple of DIY ones, even the Raptor liner with all its rave reviews, with a spray gun I did in my 00'. Prepped properly, fully sanded and primed. It just chips too damn easy and loose worse than a scratched up bed. I will never use, nor recommend any of the DIY gimmicks out there again, not on a real truck that actually does work... maybe good for a f150?

Personally, I prefer factory painted metal bed, no liner, let it scratch its a truck is it not? I have plastic drop in liner (old school) that I toss in at my discretion. I got it for $10 used at a yard sale. It works great for dirty stuff and its stronger than any other bed protection product out there. I love tucking a parp under it and over my tailgate before loading up a yard of dirt/rock/mulch, it makes unloaded great.

If I didn't have the crappy looking DIY liner from the PO, I wouldn't worry about it.

My truck very rarely has anything in the bed, so a Raptor would probably work.

I did ask for an estimate from LineX and I think I am going to paint match the white.

If you have a old DIY line in place now I bet a 3k PSI power washer gets it all off pretty easy.. you going to want to strip it off before re-doing it it will look even worse.

LineX will remote it as well, either with sand or water.

Definitely will need to strip the old one, pressure wash won't quite cut it.

I wonder if the SCT will take it off.

Put a bedrug in mine as it's softer for the doggo, but my bed is also covered and not subject to the environment.

As to the OPs question, I personally would avoid lighter colors if you use the bed alot. I imagine it would get stained rather quickly.
