I've been checking around here lately trying to find some 100% bean oil to run in the truck...actually wanted to see how cost effective it was.
So far my findings, oh one tidbit of info. Seems last week I heard on the farm report that a bushel of beans was around $12-13.
I found a place about 40 minutes south of me, apparently they have shut down production due to the soaring cost of bean oil. So I called the oil company guy I get the schaeffers from, he said a few he talked to were doing the same thing cause the finished product, B100 was around $5.00 a gallon.
I was just curious, does this seem to be going around?? I guess the days of "cheap" transportation are really just a memory.
