Have a set I tow twins here and the s366 has a lot of play (wheel can barely touch housing). There are no marks on housing. Anyway what is the average cost to have someone rebuild one of these? Or should I just buy a new one for 700?

Ive always been told turbo rebuilds are pretty straight forward, but if the compressor wheel has or can contact the housing.....use the turbo as a core on a new one

When I had the BD tow twins I had HTT rebuild the primary for $400 +/-. That was a few years ago.

will an s400 fit with the tow twins piping? I would be interested in doing this if I could buy a box s400 to drop in its place. What I am not wanting to do is spend $1800 from them for a $800 turbo and some new pipe.

You dont have to use theres.. There a little over priced anyway... And come to think of it, i think youll need a different downpipe... But thats easy to obtain...you will be very happy with performance...

I highly doubt the s400 will fit where an s300 did. Two totally different sizes, flange sizes and a lot else different. Probably be better off to sell yours and buy a new kit.

So in all reality if I get an s400 I will just need to cut my intake and oil drain. I am guessing I will also need the 4"-5" boot and clamps. Will I need a different downpipe as well?
