I have one and don't like it but I've never had a stocker. I'm getting a stock one in a few days and ill report the difference.

Thank you! If it would make a good difference i would do it but really i haven't seen people thoughts on them
I had 1 in my 02 nv56. I loved that thing. The shift pattern was so tight. Shifts were so close. Took a little to get used to but was amazing! Just my $.02 let few others drive it and they failed miserably. 2nd to 5th every time.
I have the hurst/core setup I like it so far. I have the complete shifter body with hurst handle

I put it on my truck it shortened the throw by 3" Made for a quicker shift. I like it.
how exactly does it work? Is the angle just different so you do less movement for the same amount of movement in the transmission?
Are these things still snapping as often as they used to? Was gonna get one for the nv4500 in my 95 but many people said it was a weak design. Hopefully its better now I may try one myself

it looks really nice. do you know of anyone else who runs this?
No I just read about everybody breaking the others off. So I tried this one and love it so far.

It seams like a better idea then the bd due to it being a whole new assembly. And hurst is a reliable shifter. its what my dad has in his javelin and its been there for over 40 years ha
Yeah u may not like the handle tho it makes the shifter lower and close to the seat n 246 but I like it

My throw currently is from an inch from the dash to an inch and a half from the chair.. so i think it wouldn't be much worse than that. My transmission was swapped and he bent the shifter some i believe. if i would get this and it is hitting the chair i have a torch ha
Yeah I was going to bend mine up some but I like it how it is

I tried the Core Shifter for my NVG5600. The short shifter is stout, but it wasn't for me as it doesn't work very well with dual disc clutches. It was very hard to shift.

Apart from that the shifts were short and solid feeling.

Now I just have an expensive paperweight on my work bench.
It was night and day ripping gears! I love mine!!!

What is the issue with having a dual disc?
