Banks intake disconnected

I popped the hood to change my oil, clean banks super scoop cone filter change fuel filters. I noticed the intake pipe from the air filter was not connected have some dirty oil residue in the air inlet on the turbo as well. Not sure how long i ran it disconnected but its been running fine no messages on dash or anything. Should i be concerned that ive damaged something or just reconnect and carry on?
