Do you think it would be okay to drive 300 miles one way to Austin for me to get a cab over camper with my ball joints having a little bit of play?

I got 239.000 miles out of mine, of course you could jack up the front end and touch the front tires together. Just kidding.

XRF, way better than MOOG and others. XRF gets my vote as well. I ordered direct and they were like $220, so $200 for the set sounds even better.
Funny how much you hear about MOOG this or that from people on the street recommending MOOG. But from what I've researched on this forum, MOOG has a lifetime warranty because you'll be needing it! No thanks on the labour everytime you need to replace a poor product. I'd rather have no warranty and more durability!

Well there is about 1/4 of an inch of play...I think it is way too much. Why risk it, you know. I can request another day off and go look and buy a cab over camper and visit my sister another weekend. I was always told that if you are having second thoughts, dont do it! You know?

I am going to get XRF ball joints...heard too many bad things about moog! I am also going to do my hub bearings and all steering. And I might as well do u-joints too!!

Timken wheel bearing hub assembly are $229.00 for 4wd ABS at the partsbin.com.
That was a good price. They have even cheaper ones around $170 but why not get the good ones.
