Yes i left it unplugged it states in the instruction booklet they give you that it must be left unplugged or it could cause poblems and damage. i just put the new kit on and the etc (electroic throttle control light is still on but no engine light. any suggestions. Truck runs fine though. thanks guys

lightning bolt should clear after about 3 drive cycles then....shut the truck down and restart a couple of times and it should go away.
