#1 this truck has a much rougher ride than my 2007.5 quadcab and a different backseat that rattles super loud when you hit a bump. They didn't put an kind of strap to hold it down like the 07 had has anyone noticed this kind of irritating when you spend $70,000 plus for a truck.:frown2:

Maybe this is a fault just with your truck, something defective on it or not installed correctly at the factory, because I don't recall anyone else posting on here with this particular complaint.

I had the exact opposite happen to me. significantly better ride quality, quieter, ect ect going from my 05 to my 12. and your 18 has a better suspension setup then my 12, so i'd imagine there is something else at play here....

What?

Aren't you supposed to have 80 psi in all tires?

That's what it says on the tire sidewall...

I was told if you go below 70lbs in the tires the light comes on in the dash,I wonder if that 5mth wait for the truck and driving the nice riding car around has something to do with me finding it rougher. When you look at the springs they seem pretty beefy for having ordered the air suspension but I like the level ride with the camper loaded.

Dude.....your truck has TPIS, and is a 3500 DRW.

You can run 10 psi in the tires and a light will never come on.

What does the sticker on the door jamb say for recommended tire psi?

You use that for times when you need max capacity, as in towing or hauling heavy loads, when bobtailing empty you can definitely come off of that.

And, as Greg has noted, on your 3500 dually, it won't trip the warning light.

I just went by what the tireshop were I always deal told me he knew I had a 3500 DRW and said you will get a light below 70lbs. I just took it for another ride and when I hit those bumps on the freeway the back of the rear seat shakes nothing is loose.

I'd find a different tire guy.

Of course, it's so hard to alter the tire pressures, that I would just suffer too if I were you. No point in taking a chance that you'd have to put some air back in the tires if you let them down to see what happens.

Seat buckle? Hitch adapter under seat or storage bins in floor? Gotta be something simple, these trucks are tight.

Something in the storage bins? Under seat storage? My seat makes zero noise

If you haven't found the hitch adaptor, it might be under the back seat. Also the buckles in my truck rattle unless I lay them flat.

No noises, and mine is significantly smoother than a great many vehicles I've been in; much less trucks.

I run 55psi in the rears, 60psi in the fronts.

Factory fill pressures are stupid unless you are fully loaded.

No rattles or squeaks from mine.

My tradesman is probably the quietest rig in our fleet by a good margin, its remarkable.

However, there is a sharp bump in the road down the street from my house that jiggles the rear seat something fierce. Its annoying but it's really the only time my truck interior sounds like a worn out city bus, so I'm good with it.
