B5 is 5% bio, 95% ULSD.

#2 is 100% ULSD these days.

Use them in any combination of the 2.

If it has red dye it just means cheaper, screw the tax man.

#2 is a grade of diesel fuel, referring to its lubricity and gelling resistance.
B5 refers to the percentage of biodiesel mix in the fuel, ie; B5 = 5%.
The two are not mutually exclusive, you have biodiesel of varying percentages mixed in most #2 diesel you will find at the pumps these days.

I think here in Oregun a lot #2 has B5 in it. Maybe all of it. I'm gonna find out.
Thanks

Most places I buy fuel have a sticker on the pump stating that the fuel is anywhere from B5 to B20.

I never worry about it and have never had any fuel related issues.
