i want to add an aux fuel tank, about 40-60 gals. and plumb it in to a pump system to fill my stock tank. anybody got any suggestions to do this "on the cheap"?
im looking at a houseboat fuel tank, its clean, has a top outlet pickup tube, a fuel level gauge, vent fitting, 1 1/2 inch spigot for a fill tube, and holds about 50 gals...
with the price of fuel i probly cant afford to fill it!!:$:

The older gasoline Dodge trucks had a electric fuel switch on the dash that allowed switching between twin tanks... It switch both fuel gauge senders and fuel supplies...

It was basically a electric valve and a toggle switch...

But you right at todays price for diesel it will kill you to fill up even a stock 35 gallon tank let alone a aux 50 gallon tank on top...:thud:
