The Colorado Department of Transportation has successfully evaluated AutoSock for Truck's as an alternative to metal snow chain. From the upcoming winter season 2008/09 on, Truck drivers are allowed to use AutoSock instead of metal snow chains under severe weather and road conditions.

Below are just a few private label AutoSock for OEM's.

More details on this product would be nice to know. Is this product just for highway use? How many miles will they last?

Man, you never know. That material, whatever it is, could have a different effect on snow and ice than rubber. Sounds odd, I have to give you that.

I saw a commercial tonite for these, curious too on how they would wear. Kinda a good idea though!
