Just picked up a trans temp gauge and was wondering if any one has one.

Also will the sensor fit into the test port of the tranny?

If not where did you put it?

What adapters will I need Thanks

if you want the most accurate reading of the actual transmission fluid temperature then you need to install the probe in a tee on the hot return line

I installed mine last weekend and I drilled and tapped the pan with a 1/8 NPT tap. Was really quite simple. Once I was done though I noticed that it looked like there was a port I could have used, but I am glad I did it this way, now I have a way of draining that pan before I drop it and wear ATF!!
