I'm buying a set of auto meter gauges off a guy from craigslist and just had a couple questions. The truck was wrecked and the FP sending unit and egt probe were busted up. I have glowshifts in my truck now and just wondering if i could hook up the EGT probe and FP sending unit that are glowshift up to an auto meter gauge. This is obviously not a permanant fix, just till I get money and order the actual auto meter sensors

Well im going to get them after work and ill try the install tomorrow. Guess ill find out if it works or not, just wondering if anyone had tried anything like this before.

I had heard that glowshift electrical sensors are crap but in saying that I went ahead and bought their fuel psi gauge. If it does crap out I'm going to try a few different oil pressure senders and see if any will work. It would be good to know if autometer stuff is compatible with glowshift or vice versa.

Heres the verdict: it works in the sense that it was giving me a temp






it also said i was idling at 1200*. So no, it doesnt work
