Auto tranny shifter loose

I have an 01 ram 2500 and my transmission column shifter has play in it. It is very hard at times to find reverse and is very irritating because I'm constantly going forward and backward as I use the truck for plowing snow. Also, the gear indicator only works half of the time. Anything I can do to tighten up the shifter and make it easier to shift into reverse?

I believe the column has some tamper-proof torx screws, so you will need a special driver (you can get them at the parts store too!)

After that just tear into it, see whats loose and install new bushings
