ok i did the 5 speed swap on my 01 cummins a while back used the 5 speed PCM and all but with the 01 auto dash cluster everything would work on it.when you turned the key on the odometer would show no bus and CEL on. i put the 5 speed cluster in and everything is fine. only thing is the 5 speed cluster shows 102k more miles than my truck has and i dont like it lol how can i use my original cluster???? some people say that i didnt need to change it but it wont show my miles and have CEL all the time. there a way to reset the cluster or something. tired of looking at 280k + miles when its really 174k lol and some of the lights dont come on in the 5 speed cluster.
