This morning I attempted to use the auto start but it didn't work. The lights flashed twice but it wouldn't start. As I got in the truck there was a message saying something along the lines of auto start system fault in the evic. After it started I had no cel's and it ran fine. The only thing was my low fuel light was on. Does anyone know if that keeps the auto start from working?

I've read that if you are low on fuel your auto-start wont work

Yep low fuel or a check engine light will cause the remote start not to work

if any door on the vehicle is not closed completely, the remote start will not work also.

I found if the panic button has been activated on the fob, it will not start remotely afterwards.

And if the Hood is Up it won't remote start either .

All safety features if u got low fuel it wont start in case it runs u out of fuel and hood up could be u sitting on ur remote while someone under the hood working on it
