I have an 04.5 with ats 6500 compound plus kit on it which uses the stock he351 i am seeing very high drive pressures what are my options for replacing the stock turbo without re engineering the compounds are there any turbos that can easily be dropped in its place that flow a lot better?

I would imagine somethin like an ats aurora 3000 would be kind ofa drop in. But the stock turbo has a wierd sized exhaust flange so nothing will probally match up perfect for the pipe

I am unsure about the external gate because of welding to the cast manifold and unsure what parts I need

The best option would be to port your Wastegate on the stock turbo charger to 1'' this way it can expel the extra gasses a little easier and help you out.

What other modifications do you have to the truck?

I already ported it I have 100% injectors dual cp3 and built tranny

How high are your DPs? I have the stock/5000 with ported 1" wastegate and I'm seeing about 70with WOT then backs down to close to intake pressures

You can get a manifold with a waste gate port on it from ATS, but you'd either have to send them your hot pipe or have someone weld up the connection for the gate to dump into.

I believe ATS offers both 40 and 45mm

Wait, you have a 2nd gen manifold correct? I'm not sure ATS offers 2nd gen mani's with waste gate port(s).
