ATS boned me...

Long and short of it, the head gasket let go back in Feburary. New head, gasket, ATS manifold, ARP head sutds, etc. That lasted 7 weeks and the 53 block cracked. At the same time I sent my ATS back for a rusting issue. I told them I needed it no later than today and would pay extra for the quicker shipping. They had all my contact numbers and still shipped it ground. It will not show up until Monday and the engine goes in Saturday. What a pain in the :butt:.

i havent heard the greatest things about their customer service
ATS customer service is teh worst I have ever delt with, this is not speculation I had a ton of tranny issues with my last truck.
ive never heard good about them and I deffenitly wont be getting ats in my truck now..
sorry to hear about your problem. i will never give them any good words. theres lots of better vendors here anyways.
and most of those are not as stuck up either.
what's ATS
I run their turbo but other than that I dont have anything they make. I had the arcflow intake and traded it towards a modded cp3 something that would actually make a difference. I have heard tons of horror stories to do with their trannies and never care to own one
what's ATS
Check out their web site. they have turbos, tranny's, exhaust manifolds, etc.,

Restoring the layer structure...

:agree2:

I called their customer service 4 times in one day and told them to make sure to get it shipped asap. If they had any questions or concerns to call me. I specifically told them I would pay extra for shipping. But noooooooo, they can't even follow simple instructions.

I should have bought a BD manifold from [email protected] from the forum:thud:. Dave helped me out on other things and his stuff got here FAST!! Sorry Dave:CRY:.

why didnt you have it blasted and re powder coated locally?
thats ATS for you, theres one lady at the front desk who is really nice but she doesnt know how to handle anything. they have been around for a long time but need to get their act together. maybe one day just maybe
I have lots of thier products in my truck and i have had tons of trouble with thier cs department. i finaly talk to wade there and hes usually pretty good.

For one it was a warranty issue, other wise I would have had it blasted. A friend of mine does commercial blasting. As far as powdrecoating, I wish I knew someone who did it locally.

I don't think the powder coat will last that long I'm sure they use the high heat but its still to hot to stay on.I burn it off with a torch blast it and my local charges me 20.00 seems there would be someone doing it around there. good luck
