so i was looking for a 205 and if i buy one its going to be about 600 and then prob 800 to rebuild it. so why not just spend the bank and get an atlas? what do you all think? i am going to build ppump motor, 6 speed, dual disk, prob run 36s on my crew cab 5in lift. The thing is i am building this thing to last. I am getting the trans rebuilt. and every part of motor will be new. i just thought about this atlas idea today.

What is opinions.???

Should be fine then. I dont think they are super expensive from what I remember? Been looking at SCS and Profab for the pull truck and most are just drop boxes no 2wd option.

that seems way to high priced for a 205 that needs rebuilding

chuckstrucks.net go to tradeing post and say you'll pay $600 for a 205 and I gurantee atleast 1000 pm's in about an hour.

Most expensive 205 ive ever seen on their was fully rebuilt with all new 1410 yokes for $500, most go for $200-$350

That is WAY to much for a NP205 CORE. A core should run you ~$100 a rebuild kit is ~$250, and the beverage of choice while you rebuild your own transfer case should be under $20... Then you have a fully rebuilt NP205 for under $400...

OR if you are serious about spending $1500+ on a transfer case let me know... I can probably have a fresh (0 mile) NP 205 to your door for $1500 - $1700

Glad you like it. don't forget about the extra $20 back from MRrebates.com :party018: That one takes 90 days though.
