I have been running one for a while now and like it alot. I don't get any better fuel mileage with it, but it seems to help out power wise. It also made my turbo whistle a little quieter.
I don't see how it could contribute to having to rebuild the engine. Care to explain?

It had nothing to do with the CFM+ they are composite and rpainter sucked metal into his engine.........

actually he was right I over torqued the stud that mounts the cfm and broke off the mounting ear:thud:. lost a piston and a few valves. nothing 6 decompressed pistons, custom ground cam,and dual coil springs couldn't fix.

i like mine everyone said you should loose boost but I gained about 5 psi with it and the grid heater delete. just remember the studs torque to 100 in lbs or 8 ft lbs only. :thud: robert

I have had mine on for 3 weeks now. I really like it. Right off, I noticed quicker turbo spool up, much better throttle response, and slightly lower EGT's. I don't really think I will gain anything on MPGs though. It also made the turbo whistle louder.

I'll try and find it but there is a dyno sheet floating around that showed a 50hp increase.

On an already modded truck. IMO the only place you will see the difference is on a dyno sheet.

The one dyno sheet I saw on line showed about 6 HP/15 TQ once the engine was above 1900 RPM's and IIRC the most it gave was 10 HP and 25 TQ once the engine was above 2400 RPM's. S0 unless you run your engine above 1900 all the time you will not see any HP or TQ increase.

Talk about getting mixed signals...lol Does anyone actually like it, or did they waste their money???

It depends what exactly your looking for. Since im building everything else in the motor, I mid as well change it out. I like the design, and Im looking for anything to help spool up a little ... since this badboy just came :hyper:
