Like the title says anyone run them on there airdog? Seems like a good upgrade I run a fleetguard but with how sensitive these injectors are a 2 micron filter sounds like a good idea. I found some info on people running them on a duramax forum but just wondering if anyone here runs them and what they think? Thanks

It's a great filter but a different size and thread. You would have to add another filter housing to do it.

I have a cat filter on my airdog, cant remember what the number is, been there for 1.5years or more, had to remove the 2 black pieces near the threads, called pure flow about it they said it would not effect anything, by doing this. the black pieces interfered with the filter as it was bottomed out against the housing.

I got the idea from the GM forum as well

will look later to see what filter I have on there

From what I read the 751 is the same thread. The 750 has the larger thread. I'm wondering if I should just put one on my airdog or add it inline. The easiest would probally be to throw it on the airdog. Also what's a good water seperator to run? I see lots of people run a Baldwin filter and I need to get rid of the junk airdog one with the plastic drain valve.

BEERPLAY do you run that in between the motor and airdog? I kinda like the idea of just adding it inline like you did. Also where did you pick up the filter head? Thanks

Yes, the 0751 is the one that'll work on the airdog. Was planning on spinning one onto my airdog, but wrecked/totalled the truck. Now, Im just gonna run an 0750 in-line somewhere; probably just mount it in the engine compartment.

I use the cat 1R0759 Donaldson equivalent. I think it works really good. I trust Donaldson filters. It is a 3 micron which in my opinion is better than the pureflow. A lot of filters claim low micron but at what percent do they trap? I also didn't have any fitment issues. That's just my 2 cents.

 I RAN IT PRE PUMP BETWEEN THE TANK AND LIFT PUMP AS TO NOT LET BAD FUEL INTO THE PUMP

IT HAS WORKED GREAT

ALSO ABOVE I SAID I HAD THE SAME FILTER AS STATED BUT I WAS WRONG I USE THE 1R-0750 NOT 751
THE HOUSING CAME FROM A FILTER PLACE HERE LOCALLY. I ALSO HAVE A WATER SEPARATOR THAT HAS THE BALWIN FILTER IT HAS THE IDENTICAL FILTER HOUSING BUT HAVE NOT MOUNTED IT

What type of fittings did your base take? The one I found that will work with the cat filter looks alot like yours but it takes 7/8-14 unf fittings. Just thought they would be npt style fittings.

The Cat 1R-0751 is the Advanced Efficiency filter from Cat, uses cellulose media and spins on to a 7/8-14 stud. The 364-5287 is the Cat Ultra High Efficiency filter which also mounts to a 7/8-14 stud but uses synthetic media, and I am quite sure it uses the same seal OD/ID. The Ultra series is the best filtration from CAT and this is a relatively new filter.
