i was wondering if anyone has made their own tow hooks for these trucks. i think it is completely ridiculous that they wouldnt put them on all 25 and 3500 model trucks. just wondering if anyone has a better solution to the stock ones? thanks
do you have the supports that go with the tow hooks? there is suppose to be a support that hoooks up to the frame and hooks. or did you just bolt it to the frame and have you ever used your winch? thanks
Mine originally had tow hooks on it. Never actually looked at how the mounts were attached to the frame.:confused013: As for the winch i've never used it on my self. But it has pulled a few other cars around.
not that i have seen, biggest thing i have pulled was a 90 degree side pull on a f250 up a 20 percent or so grade. seemd stout. for home made hooks i have seen people put 2" receivers in the place of hooks
