I'm looking for a grill item for my truck. It would be the bottom support from the body to the bottom of the grill. I found 1 on two different web sites, that canceled the order due to it not being in-stock. Does anyone know where one might be made/available? On the image it's part number 4.

Parts truck.

That's how I get over 90% of my parts.

I think that's called the "lower valance". And yes, the easiest place to find one is off a truck that is stripped for parts. As far as body panels go, that part and the front fenders usually go pretty quick as long as they're rust-free.

I also seem to remember them being different, between the non-ic and the intercooled models. So make sure which core support and grille you're going with before you snag one.

Every grille style has its own matching lower valance... So the 91.5-93 is unique.

Edit: the eBay linked item appears correct for 93. The older style has a long horizontal slit in it.

Scanning the local ads rewarded me once again. $600 for a '90 d150 that I managed to drive home 2 days ago (complete good nose).

Keep hunting and good luck.

There is a guy in the southern Oregon area who advertises on craigslist. He has a horde of dodge stuff. That is where I bought my front fenders from. If he was accommodating to shipping them to me in Alaska, I wouldn't hesitate to track the guy down.. I lost his phone, but I can pm you his name if you like.

Just post what you know please. I’m in Portland Oregon and I need a RR dually fender.

Also I was going to say, car-part.com is a great resource for checking wrecking yards. Sometimes they don’t get too specific in their listings. You might not find a valance but you can find a cab that has a lot of the parts you need.

I said I have his contact info if he wants it. I didn't feel it was right to post his name and contact over a public forum..

Oh I thought you had his name only. I’ve seen a few ads out there.
You were right to interpret that. But I recently dredged his info again because I was thinking about asking him for bumpers.. But I scored a bunch of free 1 3/4 tubing and decided I'm going the diy route.
