i was wanting to know if anyone out there has a CB mounted in their truck and if so could you post some pics.... especially in a 3rd gen..:thumbsup
Man thats a good CB to be putn' a cheap antenna like that on. You can get a short firestick or something....And be sure to set your SWR's...You can burn your unit up if you don't aor you won't get out far at all....Man I want one ... I just dont know squat about them!!
I was looking at the Cobra 29 Night Watch.
Im not a fan of huge big antenna's though. If I do one, I would run one of those ones that look almost like the radio antenna beside the hood, just on the other side ... Anyone picking up what I'm putting down? :lol3:
Good deal. I was going to hook it all up and bring it by EJ Citizen Band in Lake Chuck to let them tune it right for me. I've tuned it in the past, but I would like to get it right this time. I would definitely like to talk to one of your guys about tweaking. We'll talk more on the 12th. I'll have it in by then. :beerHey J, If you do end up getn' one and you want to get it tuned up....I have you hooked up(if you dont already have someone in mind) There is a guy in Deweyville that is jam up, hes an old *******, but hes good. And there is another guy in Westlake that does CB work too. He is very good, but he only does it when he aint on the road(truck driver), and he a lil bit more expensive than the guy in Deweyville.

I 2nd that...I like mine on the Passenger Side, its set and were it needs to be. I let it bother my Girlfriends leg...Not mine. Im a purty big guy and don't need anything cluttering up my side:lol3:...You can't even mount it on the roof! Thats were I had it in my 2 ol' Z-71's, now 1 is in my bros' Z-71...on the roof!!!Mines mounted vertical on the drivers side of the console. My leg kinda touches it while driving, but it's not bad there. Easy to reach, and adjust if needed. I was gona mount it on the pass. side, but it's to far to reach. There isn't many spots to put it in a 3rd gen with a manual tranny!
