Folks,

I've been reading about the 1998, 1998.5 trucks. I've been searching on Autotrader and on Ebay for the right one. Are there any major differences between the 98.5 and the 99 engine/tranny wise? Should I be considering a 99 or should I stick with the 98's and 98.5's? Anything else of note you would want to tell me? Any and all inputs are welcome. Thanks.

the 98's have the 12 valve head and a mechanical bosch inline diesel injection pump, 98.5's have the 24valve head and have the ecm electronic injection pump.
