I have a 2001 cummins and the radiator is half full but the over flow is full. Is this a heater core problem or something else. Any suggestions?

OK seriously Is you windshield getting foggy for no reason?
Your Rad cap holding pressure ?
Any leaks on ground?
Not sure if you can die test ck a diesels or not...
Your exhaust look ok?
How often do you have to refill your rad?
Is the hose to the rad ok?

The windshield does fog up randomly and i had steam coming out of the vents but when i would turn the vents on high then back down the steam would go away. Something is leaking but not 100% sure if its antifreeze.

Bingo, heater core for starters.
Do a pressure check.

Fill your coolant too before you overheat the engine.
