I have the stock radio in my truck with nav and sirius, the reception on FM has gotten worse with alot of crackly sound, if the stations are very strong, it seems ok, but lately it's happening on my local station, Sirius works fine with no noise. This sounds like an antenna problem to me, but I thought before I start taking anything apart, I would see if anyone has any suggestions.

Have you changed the antenna to a stubby one? I did on mine for looks but it took out all of my fm channels as none would come in clear anymore? My only other thought if not would be to check all connections on the fender where everything comes together to make sure everything is tight

I still have the OEM antenna on the truck, I did take the antenna apart and clean and tighten up everything, same problem, I will try taking out the radio and make sure the antenna cable is installed all the way in. Thanks for your help.
