Another injector thread

After a lot of research I've come to the conclusion I have an injector on it's way out. The truck has a bit of a hard start issue...like air getting in. The rpm's hang as well. If I let off the throttle fast during acceleration or just stab it at idle the rpm's will rise and hang for a second or 2. It will do this with edge on any level from stock to lvl 5.
Im Gettin ready to dump the coin on some 90s but I just want to make sure there isn't something else that will cause these symptoms I may have missed. Im not really seeing to much white smoke on start up...occasionally if I hadn't plugged the truck in and it's fairly cold out. From 0 to -15 or 20 Celsius. Truck has no grid heater.
