If I get a xrt pro tuner and don't add any horse power to my truck and just do the deletes with it, will it void my warranty by just doing the deletes and not adding any horse power?

Yes, it will. You will have modified the truck.

It will not void the entire warranty. Talk to your dealer about it. They may be open to working with you. My dealer told me that getting rid of the emissions would be voiding the emissions warranty, which I'm ok with that :thumbsup:

Yeah even if you don't add any horsepower the dealer wont know that ya know? They will just see a tuner and automatically think you use it for horsepower as for the box I have no idea

if you have a catastrophic engine failure, I can pretty much promise you that you also voided your engine warranty :S:

Your removing Federally mandated emissions equipment, and in the process you have to alter the way the truck is designed to operate. Warranty go bye bye.

yea if you burn a piston it wont be covered, it has to be proven that the mod caused the failure, some dealers will void the warrenty, have a talk with your dealer and see if he supports it

If something did happen to my truck could I just pull the deletes off and put the stock exhaust back on and set the truck back to factory settings or would they still know that it was programmed at one time?

They cant trace the programmer, they can trace resets on the ecm and codes that were set, even if you clear a CEL code it still leaves the history, unplugged sensors, ect ect. but they cant tell or prove you were running a programmer

Maybe. Maybe not. They've replaced engines under warranty before with aftermarket parts and programmers.
Plus, they are also selling and installing delete components and H&S products.

My dealer gave me a number for a guy that dose deletes, I think it depends on when the distric service rep comes around to check on a blown engine.
