Ingredients: 4" inlet aftermarket air filter, a piece of 4" exhaust pipe, some scrap metal, and ingenuity.

The ominous hole from where my former air box sat.

Pipe was a bit small for the tube...

Solution: Use the rubber grommets included for a 3 or 3.5 inch inlet to make a ring around the pipe and make up the difference.

Now we Roll!

Took the pipe loose and made a bracket for it to attach to the bolt the stock box was held in place by.

Some paint... and voila!

(If all the splattering in there confuses you, I replaced the thermostat while I was at it. :D )

And it sits far enough inside the fender to not worry about it getting wet.

Thanks, and yeah I made it. It's 18ga steel, the same stuff my mirror brackets are made out of. BTW yours looks good too.
