So I got this message today "5 MPG Max Speed in 150Mi Service DEF System See Dealer"

No check engine light or any codes. Cleared codes anyway with two different scanners. Message is still there. I have the "Blue Driver" code reader and looks like one of the NOX sensors might not be working. Its reading 0.

Is it possible to clear this??

It's a 2013 with 26,000 miles. I'm over the 5 year warranty, so parts will be coming off if this isn't an easy reset. Tried to be a team player but enough is enough.

The message may go away on its own after a restart or two, otherwise the witech scan tool at the dealer will be needed.

does the truck have loss of power? is it using coolant?

Are you up to date on the recalls? Was the SCR replaced and reprogrammed?

I need about 5 recalls done. SCR is one of them. Guess it’s time to make an appointment. Bad timing.

SCR recall fixed my truck when I had that message last summer.

Get your recalls done and you probably won't have any issues and save your money for now.
