Alternative Intercooler
Like many people on here, I had the wafer thin intercooler. But, I didn't want to spend $1,200+ for an aftermarket one. I couldn't find anyone with an all metal stocker to buy - and didn't want the plastic ones some of the 5.9's had.
So I got this one. The difference between it and the thin intercooler is night and day. Definite performance improvement, and its built exceptionally sturdy.
So I wanted to post the link in case anyone wants an alternative.

They have a performance and regular version . . . so i don't know. When I called them, they said they build them sturdier than stock, but to OEM specs. So my guess is, it's just like the thicker 07.5 intercooler, just built a bit better.

It said the inlet and outlet is 3.0. Stock is 2.5 isn't it? will the tubes fit?

The tubes fit fine.
I used the stock intercooler boots and clamps.

The passenger side tube tapers, it is 2.75 leaving the turbo and 3" at the intercooler :thumbsup:
