Ok well i just got done putting on my airdog 150 this afternoon and lets just say it didnt go as smooth as i was hoping it would. First off i didnt get any instructions with it, i didnt have enough fittings, and i didnt have the right mounting bracket. Lets just say im not to impressed with airdog as of right now. To my question about the drawstraw...i looked up how to put it on and came up with a few good articles on how to do it. So i dropped my tank off the truck and and took out the old drawstraw and put in the new one. I measure the depth of the tank which was 14" and i cut the total length of the drawstraw at 13 and 7/8" and put it back in the canister and put it back in the tank and was on my way. Right now my truck has between 1/8 and 1/4 tank of fuel and when stopping really fast or going up or down a steep slope my fuel pressure drops to like 5psi then goes back up. Im guessing this is because the fuel is being sloshed around and its not sucking up fuel. What should i do to fix this? Dont really wanna have any 1/4 tank issues to bad.

that sucks. at leas u got it in for the most part. With mine i took the box of my truck cause that seemed easyer. To put in my draw straw i had to drill a hole in the top of my tank for the new one. I just left all my stock lines in place and my stock lp on the truck. Airdog said to cut the bottome of the straw like a castel nut with slots. then it could put all the way to the bottome of the tank and still get fuel. I just angle cut mine and i can run with the fuel light on with no problems.

:agree2: i left all my stock lines in place and cap evethings off, the only thing i remove was the stock line from fuel filter to IP and carry it with me incase somethings go wrong with the Airdog, then all i do is rehook it up the stock line between the ff and IP and reconnect the LP electrical harness, unhook airdog fuel supplied line and put stock line back at the tank, my truck is a long bed dually and carry a fuel line removal tool with me so it will be done with no problem at all

did you install a draw straw v or a draw straw? also did drill additional holes in the canister to allow more fuel into the basket?

I installed the Vulcan V draw straw drilled two 1/2" holes into the canister and installed the AirDog return into the top on the fuel canister this will eliminate the 1/4 tank syndrome. Has anyone had a problem with fuel pressure after installing a snuber? It seems that after I installed the snuber my fuel pressure dropped to about 6psi.I changed the filter and it did not change anything. When I go to WOT the fuel pressure goes up to around 20psi.I have the pressure sending unit at the VP,thinking of moving it down to the fuel pump.:banghead:
