What is done is both EGR and DPF deletes, exhaust being the Flo-Pro TB, 5", using a Smarty JR ME for a tuner. Was originally going with the S67, but a shipping mix up with where I got the tuner, ended up with the JR, and I don't really "need" the extras the S67 had, so just took a credit for the price difference.

The EGR delete was done with the H&S kit. Thinking about what needs to happen on the intake side, but let me throw something out here. Oldest boy tried the K&N set-up on his 5.9, he is also involved with a farm operation, and the problem arises from the conditions we put these trucks in, as it can be severally dusty. He was constantly having to clean it, and ended up putting the stock filter set-up back in.

My 6.7 does see mostly paved road, but it can also end up coming into the river bottoms where we farm, gravel road, with some of the worst dust conditions you can imagine. As in so bad you can have what we refer to as a "dust out", if you meet another vehicle.

So, questions are, do I stay with the stock filter set-up, and just get rid of the TV valve assembly?? Replace the air horn, getting rid of the TV assembly, or just leave the intake alone as it stands now?? Just have the Smarty set for tow on performance, mild on tm, and low smoke on timing. I haven't done anything yet with a PoDs setting.

Power currently "feels" good what little I've driven it. I'll get a little better handle on that and what the mileage does latter today, as I need to make a round trip to Nashville.

I would do as I did... I made a few changes to mine, as I added a CoolTube from the filter box to the turbo(VGT)... Then I use the 6.7 filter when its really bad nasty out, like harvest time when the dust can get really bad, and/or through dry months... While the weather is good and more normal, I use the 5.9 filter in mine...

They both fit the stock filter box, plus the better thing about all this is you can throw these filters away, you can also find the new replacements just about anywhere and for a few bucks, when/if you need to just dump one in the trash and start over...

Least this was my thinking on all this. I didn't like all the weird sized duct work bringing the air to the turbo, with what all Dodge had, the reason I got me the cool tube and made this all fit up. Its smoothed out the air path nicely. Then all you would need to do from there is get you a nice after market air intake horn and you would be setup good...

Here is a link with a few PIC's you can see the CoolTube and what all I did... Might give you some ideas on what you might want to try... Bottom line I didn't like the idea of washing a filter out and then re-use it when you live in a dirty, dusty part of the world...

i second this, col tube works great, and the stock filter flows great for under 500 hp, and its cheap and easy to replace.
