Boost will vary. You need 100 psi constant for air horns.

the line for a boost gauge is too small, you need a minimum of 3/8 to 1/2" synflex, which is the best airline tubing. you can get it at any truck parts store.

i have my train horn mounted on the passenger side frame under the rear passenger door with air tank and compressor going there also, and if you do i find that if you have it facing backwards and downwards a little works to keep rocks and water out of the horn itself, if you want to go trucker style then all means go for it

my valve is electric and its also mounted under the truck i just got a button that operates it, i don't feel like having air lines running into the truck because of of all the extra work for something that can easily be done by wire now adays

i did all mine seperately, the train horn, the air tank, and the valve i bought seperate
best place to go is a big rig truck parts store for the electric air valve, that way everything can stay on the frame and the only items inside are a toggle switch for the compressor and a push button for the horn

well i have a true train horn manual valve in mine it is kinda custom install .... i didnt want electric cause i nmy opinion maniual sounds better .... and besides i can give it a true train effect by restricting the air some with the valve or full blast ya know ........

left toggle is for ligths and right one is compressor

i see you got synflex there, and nothing wrong with the manual valve, i realized that and thats why i got a stepper valve i didn't mention it and i should of, so it acts the same as yours does there just electric, and still runs a button, hold the button the valve opens take finger off button valve shuts fast.

yes that one will work for the full blast air horn, there will be no stepping however, just a direct on/off.

and i'm searching for places for you to go to get the proper stuff to complete the project that you got before you.
