thinking of getting a bigger after market tank so wouldnt i be better off mounting the airdog on the outside of the frame rail now. are there any reasons not to bypass the engine mounted fuel filter and if i bypass it can i just take it off without the ecm looking for it?

Not sure about mounting outside the frame rail but you can bypass the oem fuel filter, I did with mine, if you want to delete it you have to get a fuel canister delete, I believe GDP makes one.
