Anybody know what Wa state laws are on this?? I was wanting to do this to my Mega, but my wife said that she thought that it was illeagle here unless it was a big rig. I tried a google search but couldn't find anything....
ooooo I can keep secret pictures!!!
i already showed someone my secret pictures, of i show anyone else they wont be secret, but trust me theyll be worth the wait, iam shootin for as good as quality as Recon, ive been thru 5 mirrors just to perfect it, so iam sure itll be good

 Recon has kind of a bad rep but I understand what you are saying, how long is the wait before the big reveal :party018:

See i dont get why, i have recon strobes, taillights, cag lights, 3rd brake light, line of fire tailgate bar, and bed lights, i have on the way door sill lights, and will be the first to buy there headlights when they come out, and i have had no problem with there prducts.

well iam not sure, they are on my truck right now but there is just something bothering me about them, they look and work great but theres just something itching me and i wanna have them just right before i go telling people ill do there mirrors, like i stated earlier i think a good turnaround price is $150, i utizlize 12 leds, clear marker lights, resistors and "smoked spray on", i then cut a hole in the mirror and install, bondo up, sand down, get it looking just right and off they go, i want to have about 20 pairs ready to go before i start doing them, it comes with a wiring harness just far enough to get you thru the door and behind the dash from there its up to you how you get to the marker lights up front.

I'm lookin' to maybe purchase some CAB lights from them. Should i be aware of something?

never used them but Ive heard they leak and short out and such, are you going for smoked or clear?
If smoked just paint the lenses you have or on a set of stockers and put in LED bulbs
that's the deal. I'm performing NEW construction (don't have them from factory). I got a thread on here researching some "replaceable" LED's on EBAY.

BTW, going w/clear.
ah clear is more difficult, there are other brands other than recon, putco I think and one more but I cant remember what its called
clear, more difficult?
well smoked ones you can do your self with tint paint and LED bulbs, the clear you cant make yoru self that way...
sounds like a pretty good idea dodgelovr. I cant wait to see a final product
No, my plan is to PURCHASE clear cabs. That way i can tint later if i decide to change.

Nick, i'd tell ya my plan but you'd prob. have it done before i got back
With my old bumpers...

what kinda lights are you running down in the air dam?? I just tossed a Laramie bumper on and found out that it has a smaller dam then the SLT. So I went from this

They're from JC Whitney. They're actually a light strip, so the mounting is super simple. They use 40,000 hour bulbs I think, and draw very little current. Two wires hooks all the lights up, and you can tie right into anything without messing up the sensitive computer stuff on our trucks. They come in red, amber, green, clear, etc.

Mine obviously were mounted on a laramie bumper here. The strip is only about 5/8" wide, so they're easy to fit about anywhere.

I used them on the running boards too. Although they're sprayed with Niteshades paint now so you don't even notice them.

Mounted in the bed on the toolboxes:

Mounted on new bumper and smoked:

Kinda hard to see here, but matching strips on the trailer too...

They're pretty rugged, and have held up to everything I've put them through...
