So this is something that has been covered 1,000 times and 99% of the time it's a vacuum line. In my case it's not, the cruise control works and so does 4wd I know there is some sort of flap in the dash that controls what vents the air blows out of..... I'm just trying to figure out where its located lol

The vent/defrost door is on the left end of the heater box behind an below the radio. There is an actuator and lever on it that rotates the door. One or the other is probably bad. Usually it is the lever that connects the door to the actuator. $10 dollars at the dealer if still available. Probably is because several Ram and Jeep models use it. Maybe Dorman has it. Dash pull out is necessary but not that hard. Takes half a day out and back the first time.

Check amend make sure your vacuum lines are the all plugged in before you go buying stuff. Let the truck sit and run and look and see if there’s vapor coming out of the front of the motor at the little catch can. If so that means you have a vacuum leak
