I have this Kenwood KDC-MP228 aftermarket radio (stock CD player is finally shot) and I tried to have it installed by the radio tech at work (I am not savvy at this stuff LOL). I have everything ready for him, he just has to put it together, install and voila! He put it all together, and told me the aftermarket doesn't have an output for the speakers to connect to. So I'm back to nothing but local radio stations...He's pretty much told me I need a different radio. Is this true, or is there an adaptor to hook up the speakers? I can't imagine I can only install certain aftermarkets - aren't they all the same, just the wiring harness is different?

I have a Kenwood in mine (don't remember the model) I bought everything from Circuit City. Radio, Mounting kit and Kenwood to Chrysler wiring harness. Plugged everything in and was good to go. You may just need the harness.

That's pretty much what I figured, so I'm taking the truck to an audio specialist on Monday. The radio sublet couldn't let me know how to fix it so it worked, but I'm betting a real specialist can!
