Hey guys-
Just bought my first Cummins. I had a powerstroke previously, which had a 3" stock exhaust, so I upgraded to 4".
I understand this truck has a 4" stock. The previous owner put a phat shaft turbo on, deleted the cat, and added a full flow Magnaflow muffler. The mechanic he used built a lot of Dodges (was a Chrysler diesel mechanic) and told him it didn't need an exhaust since the stock was so large, provided he deleted the cat and swapped the muffler.
Just wondering if there'd be any benefit to changing the exhaust. Thanks!
