I've heard that the AFE lowers EGT's more than the CFM+..just wondering.

I picked up a BANKS off DTR cheap.... here is what it looks like now:

Nothing wrong witht he AFE...except it could use a little internal polishing...if you have a dremel or something.

The casting leaves the inside a little rough. If you can, grid out some of the roughness...

From what i have heard theyre awsome. But i wouldnt attempt to grind the interior myself. You could probably have it done at a machine shop on the cheap. By the way bDekle, finally broke a buck and a quarter a pound on calves...first time since last July. Even had one go for 1.55 lb.

I have one on my 07 and noticed a diference more on the low end. I just have that and an afe intake both of them made a difference together I can tell ya that.

well.... i dam neer stole mine.. and if i were to do it again, i wouldnt...
atleast for a mostly stock truck. for guys with large turbos that are laggy, it helps.... i saw less than 5hp peek diferance, down low, it did make a decent diferance before the truck comes on the boost.
