So let me get this right, I have a straight pipe. If I put a aero 4040 with no resonator, I'll be perfectly legal but still be almost as loud as having a straight?

Technically you wouldnt be legal because you have an 07 which came equiped with a CAT. Tufrogy404 has an 03 which did not come with at CAT which is why his setup is legal. But you can always tell the officer that it has a muffler and did not come with a cat, im sure he wouldnt know otherwise.
