I have a 2007 5.9 currently with a muffler delete and I am looking looking for it to be a little louder. Anyone know how it would sound with an aero 4040 and no cat??

I just have the resonator on right now with no muffler I want it louder but not as loud as a straight pipe, but with the aero I was going to take off the resonator and just put in the aero 4040.

Keep us posted. I want to know what you think. The 4040 does sound very nice, and if you want loud, then take the cat off and you will hear loud. :thumbsup:

I got the 4040 installed today and the cat taken off. It sounds awsome and is pretty comparable to a straight pipe just without the raspyness and not any drone on the highway at about 70mph. Gas mileage went up from 18mpg to about 21mpg with mix driving.
