Do it yourself and follow the instruction... no biggy. BUT!!!!! You shoud think about getting a better lift pump.

I just put mine on and it will cover boost, mine come with the wireing for FP but no sending unit and it will cost 90 bucks to get it from quad. I put a mechanical gauge in so I could watch it move and it was a little cheaper. It wasn't to hard,the directions seem pretty good, the one problem I had was the trans temp sending unit would not go in because it was to long so I have to get a short nipple and a coupleing to get it out a little and watch how you run your wires as far as lenth, I lengthed my vp wire and some of the rest just made it but that was because I wanted to run it in a way that looked a little cleaner then what they apparently had in mind but it isn't bad at all. Everything with serial# 58998 and newer has everything needed for the FP transducer as far as wiring and electronics are concerned.
Also, you can now buy the FP kits from any of our dealers, so check with your vendor and he can get one for you or he might have one?

Quad, it does seem crazy that a banjp bolt and sending unit would cost 90 when in the info it says to send in if you dont have the wireing and have it updated with the wireing and software updated and get the bolt and sending unit so I am not sure why it would cost the same 90 when all I need is the bolt and sending unit? this is what I was told from one of your tech on the phone that it would cost the same either way.thanks
