What would happen if you put the adr 4K on a stock truck and ran it up to 4K rpms?
at the very least. could smack a valve with the piston and cause serious damage. If it were me, i wouldnt try turnin anything more than stock till you AT LEAST get valve springs.Broken valve train parts
you would need valvesrings, some say pushrods but others say you dont need them, and a fluid dampner is a good idea. but really all you NEED is valve springs.
When turning over 4k rpm, coolant pressure spikes and builds pressure inside of the head. It causes the soft plugs to blow out sometimes. I didn't want to chance it, so I installed the kit. It has a pressure relief valve which routes excessive pressure out into the upper radiator hose. Here is a picture of the commonrail kit.what is the coolant bypass and what does it do?
