I am in the process of adding the factory fogs to my truck. I have not completed the wiring.

My truck will be at the dealer tomorrow anyway for service, can I have the sales code added before the lights are actually functional? Will the code "take"?:confused013:

Should be, just need it activated for the fogs to work once you plug everything in physically.

Yea, my matco scanner can activate the fog light sales code so they should be able to

But does it matter that the lights are not fully wired yet ?

No won't matter, you will just get a body module fault code but it shouldn't trigger the check engine light.

you will be fine. I did this 3 years ago and never put fog lights in the factory holes.
