I took the truck to A.Zone and had them test my alt. (for noise). When they test on one battery it shows battery volts 13.xx and ripple 13.xx, at the other battery it shows battery volts 13.xx and ripple 26.xx.
How is this possible? Does it mean a bad battery? or connection? or is the alt rectifier shot? :confused013:
It starts and charges fine, sometimes need to charge the batts if it sits more than a week or so.

Rebuild the alternator. Rectifier is shot.

Test the batteries as well, make sure they are disconnected for the test.
