only blows on top of dash, anyone? i just changed my lift pump and looked around there for a vaccum line off but not seeing anything

Look a little more because 99% sure thats what it is if it started after the LP.

the only thing i see that maybe missing a line is by the master cylinder but it has like a one way check valve in the line so i was thinking it may just be a breather of some sort

Should be a small three way tee, with one or two ends capped off, and a line coming in from the passenger side, all the way back up against the firewall just next to the brake booster. If you look closely, there's probably a vacuum line that is dangling down at the back of the engine block going down towards your tranny. This was the line that was disconnected from mine, and I had the same problem. Found the line, reconnected it, and everything works great. If you need a pic of what I'm talking about, send me a PM.

found it! it was the line coming off the pump. ended up puting another truck side by side and looking :lol4:
the line some how got under the fuel filter housing so thats why i didnt see it layin around. thanks for the help guys
