Ac trouble and the dealer cant figure it out

LET ME TRY THIS HERE SINCE I ACCIDENTALLY POSTED IT IN THE 2013+ FORUMStarted about 8 weeks ago and the dealership has had it on and off the whole time. I cant control the ac on my longhorn, i either have full (freeze you out) ac or its full (burn your hide) heater. As soon as i go up from lo to 61 degrees it turns on the heater. The dealer has changed out the ac head in the dash, recalibrated the blend doors, checked and charged the ac, changed the temp sensor in the overhead out twice, today they changed out the fuse/relay block under the hood and the ac worked most of the day like it was supposed but then went right back to the problems. Anybody got any ideas that i can throw at the techs, i have hit them up about everything i could think of.

What about updating the software that controls the A/C or switching out the entire ECM for a brand new one? To me it seems like something is not programmed right. You mentioned they replaced the fuse/relay box and it worked for a while but then went back to the usual thing. Maybe it is drawing too much power and frying itself. Have they checked the amount of current or draw the unit takes vs. what it should be?

^I am going to share this with them today and see what the service guys think.
any other ideas?
Have they traced the wiring from the fuse/relay box to the control unit? Could be that there is a bad/broken wire causing surging current to trip something inside of the A/C control unit

This is what they worked on today, had the dash apart running out wires trying to find which one is poping the fuse. I picked the truck up today because there is not going to be a tech that can work on it till next week and of course I have to head back to west texas. I am going to give them one more shot when I get back in a couple of weeks and then I am going to go and buy another truck.
sounds like a lemon case to me!
Might try a different dealership.

Not all mechanics are created equal.

Sure do hope not, I don't want to have to deal with that junk.

Next dealership I go to will be Ford, I have not had one since 07, might be time to go back. (hope I don't get kicked off the forum for that last remark)
At least you didn't say Duramax.
It could be the temp sensor in the box. I'm a dodge tech and I go to training tomorrow. I will talk to my dodge instructor about this for u and give u some info

Thanks for that, but they have changed the sensor out 3 times. At first it was reading a constant 39 degrees in the cab even if it was 98 outside (communication lost) so as soon as I take it off the lo setting, the heater was trying to get the cab back to 61 because of the false temp reading. yesterday they found a fuse that keeps blowing, got to be a bad wire some where or trying to go to ground and drawing to many amps. But please ask him and see what he has to say and his thoughts.
